INTELHEART results presented at the AAI2025 conference

The ongoing INTELHEART results were presented at the Fourth Serbian International Conference on Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAI2025), which took place in Zlatibor, Serbia, on May 29–30, 2025.

This international event gathered national and international participants and offered a dynamic program that included keynote lectures by leading experts, panel discussions, mini-symposia, and virtual networking sessions. The conference welcomed contributions from all areas of artificial intelligence, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and changing ideas between researchers from both academia and industry.

INTELHEART contributed to the conference with two research papers that highlighted the application of machine learning in cardiovascular medicine:

  • Heart Failure Disease Progression Assessment in Patients Through the Use of Traditional Machine Learning Approaches

Anđela Blagojević, Smiljana Tomašević, Ognjen Pavić, Lazar Dašić, Tijana Geroski, Andrej                 Preveden, Lazar Velicki, Nenad Filipović

  • Impact of Different Biomarkers on the Prediction Capabilities of Machine Learning Models in the Diagnosis of Heart Failure

Lazar Dašić, Anđela Blagojević, Ognjen Pavić, Tijana Geroski, Nenad Filipović

These contributions demonstrated how AI technologies can support early diagnosis and monitoring of heart failure by utilizing clinical biomarkers and traditional machine learning techniques.

We are proud to have participated in AAI2025 and to have shared our latest results with the national and international AI and healthcare research communities. More information about the conference and the detailed program can be found here.
