The University of Kragujevac, with the support of the City of Kragujevac and the Kragujevac Regional Chamber of Commerce, hosted the eleventh Science and Innovation Day, which was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the Rectorate of the University of Kragujevac. The Science and Innovation Day was organized as part of the project “Serbia, Land of Science, Land of Innovation” in order to raise awareness of the importance of investing in science, technological development and innovation. The project is supported by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, in collaboration with the Innovation Fund, the Science Fund, and the Center for the Promotion of Science
Present professors, researchers and students also had the opportunity to learn about examples of good practice in the field of science and innovation. Prof. Dr. Nenad Filipović, Rector of the University of Kragujevac emphasized the importance of investing in science, research and innovation, as well as the potential they have for our country. Аs the principal investigator of the INTELHEART project he presented its concept and innovation potential. INTELHEART project is supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and presents a great opportunity for the development of artificial intelligence and computational modeling for improved diagnosis of heart failure
