INTELHEART team has visited the Jiao Tong University, Hainan Campus on Hainan, Peoples Republic of China for the “Hai Now” training programme held between 16th and 27th of March 2026.. The visit was tied to professional development and dissemination of different project medical projects tied to the application of artificial intelligence in medicine. During the workshop the INTELHEART project was presented to organizing members of the Jiao Tong University as well as students from different countries which include Portugal, Philippines, Vietnam, Kirgizstan, Angola, and Egypt.
The sessions facilitated an in-depth exchange of technical methodologies, focusing on how AI-driven decision support systems can improve the accuracy of early detection for diseases, most notably different types of cancer, pulmonary diseases and heart failure. By engaging with this diverse international cohort, the team established new pathways for collaborative research and the global scaling of innovative diagnostic tools.
